Sat-Mon, 21-30 August - Burley Summer Festival
Once again, the Chamber is delighted to sponsor the Festival Launch. From 5pm to 6.30pm on Saturday 21st August, we will be at the beautifully restored Grange on Main Street and outside, serving free nibbles and a drink to kick the event off in style. There will also be a cash bar. No booking required, just turn up!
BADCOT is also supporting the authentic Farmers' Market from 10am to 2pm on Sun, 22 Aug in the Red Lion Hotel carpark off Main St. The market will be selling a wonderful selection of fresh and organic produce direct from the producer and sourced as locally as possible. Don't miss out on Burley's first authentic Farmers' Market and the opportunity to take home fresh, good quality produce! Call 01943 863130 for more info.
A Craft Fair is to be held at the same time to complement the Farmers' Market across the road at the Grange. Please contact Sylvia Tilford on 01943 863218 to book a stall for only £10.

Sun 22 August - Ilkley Business Forum Barbecue
BADCOT members are invited to the IBF bbq at Ilkley Tennis Club from 2 to 5pm. Cost is £5.50, including food and a donation of 50p to Help for Heroes. This will be an opportunity to mix with other members and get to know each other better. Children are welcome and can eat for free.
Sat, 27 November - Burley Christmas Market
The above date has been set for the 8th Burley Christmas Market, once again being organised by BADCOT in tandem with the Burley Community Trust's Lights Switch-On. It will run from 2pm to 5.30pm in Burley Main Street and Grange Park, near the Roundhouse.
BADCOT's pitch booking forms and explanatory circular letter are now available from Market Co-ordinator Roger Charnley (01943 864774) or e-mail via Members' Section (Burley Millennium Theatre Group)
Standard pitch (frontage 15ft) cost is £12 for members, £30 for non-members, £6 for local voluntary groups and charities. Larger pitches available at pro-rata costs. All pitch application forms should be completed and returned with cheque to Roger no later than Friday, 17th Sept.
